4-star cornerback, former Alabama commitment, announces pledge to Big 12 program

Four months after backing off his commitment to Alabama, 4-star cornerback Latrell McCutchin has pledged to a Big 12 program.
The Austin (Texas) LBJ standout announced his commitment to Oklahoma on Saturday. The news won’t come as a huge surprise to Crimson Tide fans. McCutchin was on a unofficial visit to OU when he backed off his pledge to Alabama on March 1. During his time as an uncommitted prospect, he received offers from Florida State, Minnesota, Kansas State, Memphis, Southern Cal and Texas A&M. McCutchin also had prior offers from Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Missouri, Ole Miss and Tennessee.
Listed at 6-1, 176 pounds, McCutchin is rated the No. 11 cornerback, No. 21 recruit in Texas and No. 124 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2021 on the 247Sports Composite.
