4-star defensive back Markevious Brown announces his college commitment

The Lane Train dipped into Florida to pick up a cornerback and continue the Ole Miss recruiting momentum.
Markevious Brown, a 4-star out of Bradenton (Pahokee) and IMG Academy has signed with the Rebels over finalists Auburn and Miami. Arkansas and Virginia Tech rounded out his top five. He is ranked the No. 28 cornerback in the country and No. 56 player in Florida according to the 247Sports Composite. The 6-feet and 170-pounder had a reported 20 offers.
He played his freshman season at Pahokee High School and returned to his hometown Wednesday to hold his signing day ceremony, the Palm Beach Post reported.
