New Missouri basketball head coach Dennis Gates got some good news on Wednesday. Aidan Shaw is committed to Mizzou again.

Shaw first pledged to the Tigers on Sept. 17, 2021. After Cuonzo Martin’s dismissal as head coach, Shaw decommited on March 17. After thinking things over a bit, Shaw decided that MU is indeed where he wants to play college basketball.

Shaw shared a Notes screenshot explaining his recommitment process. He pointed to Mizzou fans as a reason he wants to play for the Tigers.

Out of Blue Valley High School, Shaw is from Stilwell, Kansas. He is listed at 6-8, 190 pounds and rated 4-stars, the No. 3 Kansas product, No. 14 small forward and No. 52 prospect in the class of 2022 overall nationally on the 247Sports Composite.
