The New Year is off to a strong start for the Rebels. They made the hire of an up-and-coming assistant official, and picked up a commitment from four-star Grayson (Suwanee, Ga.) ILB Breon Dixon.
Dixon, who measures 6-foot, 218 pounds, announced his pledge at the Under Armour All-America game in Orlando.

The 247Sports Composite rates Dixon as No. 11 at his position and the No. 27 prospect from the Peach State and the Rebels’ No. 2 pledge of their 2017 class. Ole Miss now has 14 commits, including four junior college transfers.
