4-star Nashville DT commits to Tennessee over Alabama, Ohio State

One of the top prospects in Tennessee in staying in the Volunteer State.
Four-star DT Brant Lawless, a product of Nashville Christian School, announced on Twitter that he has pledged to UT.

Lawless, who measures 6-foot-3, 285 pounds, also had offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU and Ohio State. On the 247Sports Composite, Lawless is rated the No. 283 overall recruit, No. 25 defensive tackle and No. 8 Tennessee prospect. The Volunteers now have nine pledges for 2018 in what is shaping up to be one of the top classes in the SEC.
