4-star OT Isaiah Hookfin releases top 8 with 2 SEC schools

It’s almost recruiting season, so fittingly, 4-star offensive tackle Isaiah Hookfin released his top eight schools on Friday night.
His list included two SEC schools — Mississippi State and Auburn.

These lists are always subject to change. That’s probably particularly true for Hookfin, who reportedly received more than 20 scholarship offers.
Mississippi State and Auburn both made Hookfin an offer on Oct. 30 according to 247Sports.
The Texas native is the No. 35 ranked offensive tackle the 52nd-best in-state prospect in the 2019 class based on the 247Sports player rankings. He’s also a top 500 recruit in the country.
Standing at 6-foot-5 and 270 pounds, he would provide the Auburn offensive line some much needed beef, but he would likely fit in nicely at Mississippi State as well.
