Adonis Otey doesn’t appear to be interested in joining the Volunteers, but the 4-star cornerback from Tennessee is showing a strong interest in playing in the SEC.
After visiting Auburn this weekend, the Murfreesboro, Tenn. cornerback told AL.com’s James Crepea he will pick either AU, Arkansas or Louisville next week.
On his 247Sports recruiting profile, nine Crystal Ball predictions have been submitted for Otey. Three have him going to Auburn and three to Louisville. Two are labeled “cloudy” and one for Alabama. The site’s Composite rankings have Otey the No. 11 recruit out of Tennessee and No. 30 cornerback in the 2019 class.
Early Saturday evening, Otey tweeted photos from his AU visit, including one with Tigers coach Gus Malzahn.

Otey set his Aug. 1 decision date in May. It could be a good sign for AU that he returned to the Plains so close to his decision, but it’s worth noting he has scheduled an official visit to Louisville in September.
I will be committing on my lil brothers birthday Aug 1 stay tuned……👀👀
