One of the top wide receivers in the state of Georgia is showing strong interest in playing in the SEC.
On Tuesday, Hapeville Charter WR Jaquexz Smith revealed a top of Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU and Notre Dame. Smith shared his top five on Twitter via a screenshot of a note.
The Atlanta native is rated 4-stars, the No. 13 Georgia product, No. 24 wide receiver and No. 123 prospect overall nationally in the 2021 class on the 247Sports Composite. He has received 12 scholarship offers per 247Sports, a list curiously missing Alabama, Auburn and LSU.
Smith took an unofficial visit to Notre Dame on March 23, 2019 after receiving a scholarship offer on Jan. 22.
