5-star 2021 DL Payton Page names 2 SEC teams in latest top 5

It’s no secret that coaches recruit beyond the next class that will hit campus. With National Signing Day for the class of 2020 just around the corner, the class of 2021 will soon be in the spotlight.
Dudley DT Payton Page figures to be on the most sought-after recruits in the class of 2021. The Greensboro, North Carolina native is rated 5-stars, the No. 2 defensive tackle and No. 7 recruit overall nationally in the class on the 247Sports Composite. Page has already collected 33 scholarship offers. Not long ago, he named his top 11. This weekend, he revealed his top 5. Tennessee and LSU are the two SEC programs to make the cut, joined by Clemson, North Carolina and Oregon.
Interestingly enough, LSU wasn’t in the top 11 from October while Alabama, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina were the SEC programs joining Tennessee at that time. Clemson, North Carolina and Oregon were also in the top 11 from October.
