5-star Jaheim Singletary names 5 SEC teams in final 8, sets commitment date

Several college football fans and teams are eagerly awaiting updates from 2022 cornerback prospect Jaheim Singletary, and the 5-star defensive back from Jacksonville, Florida provided one on Friday.
Singletary released the top eight teams remaining in his recruitment, as well as listing his commitment date as Jan. 1.
It is an SEC-heavy list, with Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Tennessee alongside Clemson, Miami, and Oklahoma.
Singletary is a 6-foot-1, 170 pound junior at Robert E. Lee High School in Jacksonville that is rated the No. 9 overall prospect in his class, per the 247Sports Composite. Singletary also rates as the No. 4 cornerback in his class, and the No. 2 overall player in the state of Florida.
It will be an all-out race to land the talented defender between these eight teams, and they will finally have an answer – at least for the time being – on New Year’s Day.
