5-star linebacker reportedly sets spring visit to Oklahoma

5-star linebacker Sammy Brown will visit Oklahoma later this spring, according to a report.

Per 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong, Brown will be in Norman for a visit during the 1st week of April. Wiltfong’s report also says this is Brown’s lone planned visit for this spring so far.

Brown, a Georgia native, is a top target for Oklahoma in the class of 2024. He’s currently ranked as the No. 12 overall player and the No. 1 linebacker in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 225 pounds. He attends Jefferson High School in Jefferson, Georgia.

In addition to Oklahoma, Brown has received offers from some of the top programs across the country. The list includes Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, Alabama and Florida State, to name a few.

Oklahoma does not currently have any commitments in the class of 2024.
