Darius Gray is narrowing things down.

As one of the top offensive linemen in the Class of 2026, Gray drew interest from coast to coast. On Sunday, Gray revealed that he’s down to 5 schools, and he’s showing a strong interest in playing in the SEC.

Clemson, LSU, Ohio State, South Carolina and Tennessee are the 5 finalists, Gray told Hayes Fawcett of Rivals. He took weekend visits to all 5 schools over a period of May 30-June 20.

Out of Richmond (Virginia) St. Christopher’s School, Gray is listed as measuring 6-3 and 285 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Gray is rated 5-stars, the No. 2 interior offensive lineman, No. 2 player in the state of Virginia and No. 28 prospect overall in the 2026 recruiting class.

Gray has picked up a whopping 45 scholarship offers. His April and May visits included Georgia, Virginia and Virginia Tech. Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Kentucky, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi State, Mizzou, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, Texas A&M and USC are among the other programs to show interest during Gray’s recruitment.

Though the race for Gray is down to 5, the prized lineman does not appear to be in any rush to make his college decision with no commitment date set. It will be interesting to see how things play out.
