The Tennessee-Kentucky game is shaping up to be a big recruiting weekend for Jeremy Pruitt and his staff.
Some big news on the Vols visitor list broke Saturday afternoon as Jesse Simonton of Rivals shared that 5-star RB John Emery, a recent Georgia decommit, is in the house at Neyland Stadium.
Emery, a product of Destrehan, La., backed off his UGA pledge shortly after visiting LSU when the Tigers beat Georgia. As Simonton points out, LSU is thought to be the favorite for the Louisiana product, but there is a Tennessee connection with Emery’s father having started his college career at UT.
The 247Sports Composite rates Emery as the No. 2 running back and No. 22 overall recruit nationally.
