Tyjon Lindsey, a five-star 2017 receiver, will kill two birds with one stone in an upcoming visit to the South.
The 5-foot-9, 180-pound slot man will visit both Alabama and Auburn when he comes through the area later this month. He’s scheduled to make his Auburn stop July 17-18.
As would be expected from one of the nation’s top recruits, Lindsey is considering a handful of the country’s best college football programs, including Ohio State, USC, Oregon, Notre Dame, Nebraska and more.
According to 247Sports, though, one advantage for the Tigers is that Lindsey likes the way Auburn prepares its players for the NFL:
“I remember watching them play against Oregon in the national championship game and they had most of their guys NFL ready. Their offense is high intensity and I feel I’d play well there.”
Lindsey is the No. 4 receiver in the class of 2017 and the No. 7 recruit from the state of California, according to 247Sports.
