This past weekend, a total of 15 games were canceled or postponed altogether due to the COVID-19 pandemic, including 4 in the SEC.

By all accounts, it looks as if we will be in for another rash of postponements, and the week has barely begun.

On Monday, it was announced that the game between No. 5 Texas A&M and Ole Miss will be pushed back to Dec. 12 as the Aggies continue to be short of eligible players due to positive coronavirus tests and subsequent contact tracing. That’s just 1 of 7 games that have been announced to not proceed as scheduled this week.

Among Power 5 conferences, the ACC saw Georgia Tech have a second-straight game postponed as its game against No. 12 Miami has been rescheduled to Dec. 19—the ACC announced a series of schedule adjustments on Monday as well—while in the Pac-12, Arizona State’s second game in a row has been canceled, this one against Colorado.

Outside of the Power 5, 2 Conference USA games have been affected: UAB and UTEP’s contest scheduled for Friday is off, as is Charlotte’s trip on Saturday to play No. 15 Marshall. In the MAC, Tuesday’s tilt between Ohio and Miami (OH) won’t be made up, as well as a non-conference game between Louisiana-Monroe and Louisiana Tech.
