Another preseason Top 25 is out, this time ESPN’s updated rankings post-National Signing Day from lead writer Mark Schlabach. Ohio State, equipped with four Heisman frontrunners, is the overwhelming favorite to repeat as national champions and has been a unanimous No. 1 during way-too-early poll season.

Alabama and Georgia are the SEC’s two highest ranked teams, coming in at No. 4 and No. 8, respectively. Auburn, No. 3 in our SDS Top 25, is just outside the Top 10 according to ESPN.
