Using each player’s 247Sports Composite rating, here’s Kentucky’s top uncommitted recruiting targets for 2015
Top Targets
1. Damien Harris, RB, 5-11, 205, Berea, Ky., Five-Star: Kentucky holds a 43 percent advantage in 247Sports’ crystal ball predictions for Harris. The running back is a bruiser with speed, power and tackle breaking ability.
2. Marcus Lewis, ATH, 6-1, 187, Washington, D.C., Four-Star: The Wildcats remain in contention for Lewis, the No. 2 player in the D.C. area. However, his three frontrunners are Miami, Clemson and Georgia.
3. Anthony Rush, DT, 6-4, 300, Cary, N.C., Three-Star: Kentucky holds a 69-31 percent edge over UNC in predictions for Rush. His top-3 includes both teams and Clemson.
4. DeAntre Turman, CB, 5-11, 164, Fairburn, Ga., N/A: Kentucky is the only school to offer Turman a scholarship thus far.
High Choice
1. Anthony McKee, OLB, 6-2, 190, Columbus, Ohio, Four-Star: Kentucky remains in contention for McKee, Ohio’s No. 14 overall prospect. His top-3 also includes Oklahoma and Michigan State.
2. Von Davis, CB, 5-11, 170, Mount Dora, Fla., Three-Star: Kentucky is the frontrunner for Davis, the No. 44 overall cornerback for the 2015 class. He also has “warm” interest in Arizona, Indiana and Wisconsin.
3. Javon Provitt, DT, 6-3, 305, Warren, Ohio, Three-Star: Kentucky was selected as the favorite to land Provitt in all five crystal ball predictions. The No. 34 overall defensive tackles is also considering Cincinnati and Purdue.
4. Tavin Richardson, WR, 6-3, 200, Duncan, S.C., Three-Star: Richardson ranks as the No. 12 prospect in South Carolina. Kentucky is one of four teams listed as “warm” interest, including UCF, Nebraska and Louisville.
5. DaVon Hamilton, DT, 6-3, 285, Pickerington, Ohio, Three-Star: Kentucky holds a 70 percent advantage in the crystal ball predictions for Hamilton. The Pickerington, Ohio native is the No. 84 overall defensive tackle for the 2015 class.
6. Darrion Landry, WR, 6-2, 200, Brenham, Texas, Three-Star: Kentucky received all five votes in Landry’s crystal ball predictions. The receiver ranks as the No. 115 JUCO prospect and the No. 10 JUCO player from the state of Texas.
