Tennessee linebacker reinstated by the program after animal cruelty charge dismissed
Tennessee’s linebacker room received a much-needed boost in depth this week as junior Aaron Beasley has been reinstated by the team.
This news clears the way for Beasley to return to the Volunteer football program as a full participant after a Knox County judge dismissed an animal cruelty charge against him.
Back in April, Beasley was cited for misdemeanor animal cruelty.
Beasley appeared in eight games for the Vols last season and has made a total of 17 total appearances in his two seasons on Rocky Top. During that time, Beasley has racked up nine tackles and one forced fumble.
