Aaron Murray admitted that he fell short in his attempt to convince his “Snaps” podcast co-host, T-Bob Hebert, that Georgia’s schedule is something that “95% of the country” would not run through and have an undefeated season. At best, those other teams would go 9-3, Murray said.
Murray, and especially Hebert, is aware that many people believe that Tennessee is the only serious challenger on the schedule. But Murray made an effort.
“There are tough games there, South Carolina, a quality opponent,” Murray said. “Kentucky this year is a quality opponent, especially with Devin Leary at quarterback. I think Missouri is a good team, Ole Miss is a difficult game. It’s not an easy schedule, T-Bob, it’s not that easy.”
Murray later said that Texas would go 10-2 with the Georgia schedule.
Hebert countered and said that national championship contender in Georgia doe not have hard games, except for Tennessee. Herbert also recalled that Murray previously said that Georgia is simply that much better than other teams.
Sadly I don’t think I convinced @TBob53 that UGAs schedule is not a complete cupcake season
