Auburn DL Montravius Adams will return for his senior season, according to a report from AL.com’s Brandon Marcello.
That’s new Auburn defensive coordinator Kevin Steele you see doing a fist pump over in the corner in celebration of having the big guy to utilize in his schemes this season.
At 6-4 and almost 300 pounds, Adams has a future in the NFL ahead of him, but he chose to come back to help the Tigers defense in 2016 and potentially improve his draft stock for 2017.
Adams had 44 tackles and 2.5 sacks for the Tigers last season.
