Advanced stats show no NFL player is more elusive than rookie Alvin Kamara

Alvin Kamara is having a remarkable rookie season with the New Orleans Saints, and he has received the highest rating of any NFL player in this Pro Football Focus category.
According to PFF, the former star for the Volunteers received the No. 1 elusive rating of any back in the NFL. The definition of elusive rating by PFF is “a runners success beyond the point of being helped by blockers.” Kamara received a 110.4 elusive rating from PFF.
Kamara has definitely found multiple ways to provide an impact with the Saints offense. He has carried the ball 111 times for 684 yards and 7 TDs. Kamara has also been utilized extensively in the passing game with 75 catches for 742 yards. With 1,426 yards from scrimmage and just one fumble on the season, Kamara has a strong shot at capturing NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.
