Skai Moore may not have been selected in the 2018 NFL Draft, but the former South Carolina linebacker is quickly on the rise.

Moore started at middle linebacker for the Indianapolis Colts in the first game of his rookie season on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. The former Gamecock signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent and quickly proved himself during training camp and the preseason.

Moore played at South Carolina from 2014-17, but he missed all of 2016 due to injury. Last year, he had 93 tackles, two sacks and three interceptions for the Gamecocks.

During his career at South Carolina, Moore had 297 total tackles along with five sacks and 10 interceptions.

Moore could be poised to have a strong year for the Colts now that he has quickly ascended to a starting role.
