While the news of QB Trevor Knight’s season over due to a shoulder injury is the biggest story out of College Station today, it wasn’t the only bad news Kevin Sumlin had to pass on. Two other Texas A&M players are out for the rest of the year.

Lanfear, a sophomore from Buda, Texas, played in 12 of 13 games as a freshman backup last season and has played in seven games of the 2016 season.

DB Noel Ellis was a top bench contributor in 2015 as a redshirt freshman, recording 17 tackles. He’s played in five games this season recording four total tackles.
