The rivalry between Texas A&M and Texas was put on ice when the Aggies joined the SEC in 2012, but it still has plenty of fire, especially during this young offseason.

The two schools, who haven’t played the last four years after meeting in 97 consecutive seasons previously dating back to 1915, have been going back and forth this week. Of course, Twitter is the most popular spot for that these days.

It continued on Tuesday as Aggies receiver Ricky Seals-Jones sent out a couple tweets, which were clearly directed at the 5-7 Longhorns, who missed the postseason for just the second time in the last 18 seasons.

While the Aggies may have lost 27-21 to Louisville in the Music City Bowl, Texas A&M has reached seven straight bowls, which is the longest streak in school history.
