Could Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman be on the verge of flipping a now-former Big 12 commitment to the Razorbacks?
In August 2019, Dallas linebacker Brennon Scott committed to play at the University of Kansas. However, on Tuesday evening, the 235-pounder from Bishop Dunne Catholic School announced on his Twitter account that he was de-committing from the Jayhawks due to “changes in the…program.” According to Rivals recruiting reporter Nikki Chavanelle, Scott has an official visit lined up for Jan. 17 with Arkansas.

Scott recorded 80 tackles, 9.0 tackles for a loss and 14.0 sacks as a junior at Bishop Dunne in the 2018-2019 season. His progress was hindered as a senior as he sustained an injury that kept him off the field for 3 games, but he later returned to play.
Arkansas currently has 9 players signed to the class of 2020, with 4 others committed but not yet signed. Three of those players have pledged to the program since the hiring of Pittman in December.
