Alabama knows who its homecoming opponent will be on Oct. 1. The school’s department of athletics announced on Thursday that will be Kentucky.

The Crimson Tide is 9-0 in homecoming games under coach Nick Saban, and the school has won 14 straight dating back to 2002.

This year’s game against the Wildcats is sandwiched by a Sept. 24 game against Kent State and an Oct. 8 trip to Arkansas.

Alabama has won 19 of the last 20 matchups between the schools, including five straight. The Tide won the last meeting 48-7, and the 41-point victory was tied for the second-biggest in the series’ history.
