Alabama is starting to put together another elite recruiting class for new head coach Kalen DeBoer.
On Tuesday, the Crimson Tide picked up another elite prospect with a premier offensive tackle out of California. It goes down as the 7th commitment of June for DeBoer and his staff and has Alabama well-positioned for an elite 2025 recruiting class.
The player is Jackson Lloyd, a 6-foot-7 and 290-pound OT out of Carmel High School in California. Lloyd is a 3-sport athlete who also plays basketball and baseball and was hotly pursued by many top programs.
He took an official visit to Tuscaloosa recently and revealed his commitment to the Tide on Tuesday. Auburn, Florida, Michigan State, Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee and USC are some of the other notable offers that Lloyd held.
