The sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft isn’t quite over yet, and already, the Alabama Crimson Tide are dominating.

After having three players chosen in Round 1 in Nashville on Thursday night (DL Quinnen Williams, OL Jonah Williams and RB Josh Jacobs), the Tide have continued to fly off the board. Through six rounds, they’ve already had 10 players hear their names called.

Per ESPN’s Trey Wingo, there were only three times from 1967 to 2016 that a team from the SEC had at least 10 players selected in a single NFL Draft. Alabama has now had at least 10 players drafted the last three years in a row.

Obviously, that says a lot about the Tide under Nick Saban, who has had the program firing on all cylinders since taking over in 2007.

With another talented crop of players likely to test their draft stock next year, we’ll see if the Tide can make it four years in a row with double-digit picks when the 2020 NFL Draft rolls around.
