The Football Writers Association of America, also known as the FWAA, put out their latest poll ranking who they think are the top 16 teams in college football.

Like with most polls, Alabama and Clemson topped the list after both impressed in Week 5. Alabama destroyed the Rebels 66-3 at home while Clemson went to Virginia Tech and pull out a decisive 31-17 victory over the Hokies.

Here’s a look at the rest of the poll:

After beating rival Tennessee 41-0, the Georgia Bulldogs found themselves in the top 5 as well. At this point, it’s hard to envision anyone in the SEC East knocking off the Bulldogs in that division.

Auburn may have something to say about the Bulldogs’ chances of making it to the SEC Championship game undefeated, however. The Tigers checked in at No. 12 overall in the poll after beating down Mississippi State 49-10 just a week after the Bulldogs lost to Georgia 31-3 in Week 4.

The Florida Gators were the only other SEC team to receive any votes (12) and not make the top 16. It’s starting to seem more and more likely that the SEC could come down to Alabama, Auburn or Georgia.
