Of all the accomplishments of Nick Saban’s Alabama program, the Crimson Tide have never sent seven players to the NFL early. At least, not until now.
Alabama is poised to set the new school record for players leaving early to the NFL as seven players have declared early for the 2019 NFL Draft by the deadline to do so, which happens to be Monday, Jan. 14.
Last season, Alabama sent five players early to the NFL, meaning the program has now sent 12 players to the league early in a 12-month period — which is also a new two-year mark for the program.
