An Alabama analyst is reportedly leaving Tuscaloosa for Jacksonville.

FootballScoop, citing a source, reports that Alabama defensive analyst Patrick Reilly is planning to join Urban Meyer’s Jaguars staff in a defensive quality control role.

Reilly was on Nick Saban’s staff for three seasons after spending the previous two seasons at UCLA.

Reilly isn’t the only member of the 2020 Alabama staff making the move southeast to Jacksonville. Charlie Strong was one of the reported initial hires made for Meyer’s Jaguars staff.

Strong, who worked under Meyer as defensive coordinator at Florida, was a defensive analyst on the Crimson Tide staff this past season after being fired as USF’s head coach following the 2019 season.

Reilly will also be working with Tosh Lupoi again. The former Alabama assistant will be the defensive line coach on Jacksonville’s staff.
