Frustrated Alabama fans tuning in for Citrus Bowl discover they have Spanish broadcast by mistake
Some Alabama fans eager to tune in for their team’s Citrus Bowl appearance against Michigan were in for a real surprise on Wednesday afternoon.
Instead of getting the game in English, some viewers were treated to the Spanish language broadcast.
Apparently, the mistake affected enough viewers that the official Citrus Bowl Twitter account decided they had to say something to the viewers of the game.
¡Hola amigos!
We’re aware some viewers are receiving the Spanish broadcast rather than English. Please consult your television provider for support as we have no control over issues of this matter.

Here’s an example of one fan that got the game in Spanish. Apparently, punting was a hit for these announcers:

Others did not enjoy it as much:
Anyone know why ABC is announcing the Citrus Bowl in Spanish. I can't watch that don't understand spanish

My tv is only getting Spanish audio for the #CitrusBowl and I’m not mad simply because I get to hear someone excitedly yell “Yerry Yeudy” over and over. #RollTide
