Alabama announced on Friday that spring football will be beginning next Friday, March 8 before taking some time off to celebrate spring break.
Practice will resume Monday, March 18, with the conclusion of spring practice coming on Saturday, April 13 with the annual A-Day spring game, which will take place at 1 p.m. and will be televised nationally by ESPN2.
Alabama is coming off a 14-1 season in which it won the 2018 SEC Championship and finished as national runner-up to Clemson. The team is breaking in seven new assistant coaches this season, which more than any other SEC program this offseason.
