Alabama DL Justin Eboigbe had good news to share on Monday. After missing most of UA’s 2022 season due to injury, Eboigbe indicated he’ll be back on the field soon.
Eboigbe tweeted Monday that he is “100% healed and cleared” from the neck injury that sidelined him last season.

Eboigbe played in just the first 4 games of Alabama’s 2022 season. Nick Saban shared in October that Eboigbe had a procedure to address a neck injury.
The 2023 season marks Eboigbe’s 5th season in Tuscaloosa. He is considered a redshirt senior. The Forest Park (Georgia) product could potentially return for a 6th season in 2024 using the NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver for the 2020 season.
Over 4 seasons, Eboigbe has played in 42 games for the Crimson Tide, recording 59 tackles, including 4.5 for loss and 2 sacks. Eboigbe was on track for the most productive season of his career in 2022, logging 11 tackles in 4 games. He recorded 19 tackles in the 2020 and ’21 seasons.
Alabama’s A-Day spring game is set for April 22.
