Alabama English professor issues response to Miami fan’s diss track

Recently, a Miami fan called @TheCoachCoop on Twitter released a diss track about Alabama ahead of the Hurricanes’ Week 1 matchup with the Crimson Tide in Atlanta.
Obviously, beating the No. 1 Crimson Tide won’t be easy, so Coop’s video might end up being trolled even harder a week from now.
There was a response from the Alabama side, though. As you can see below, Alabama English professor Brian Oliu released his own diss track, though his is more of a spoken-word/poetry diss than a rap:
Flo Milli, Rich Boy, Doe B, The Last Mr. Bigg, G-Side, Dirty, Gucci Mane, & YBN Nahmir were all too busy to respond to @TheCoachCoop’s brutal assault on our beloved Crimson Tide so I took it upon myself to defend Alabama’s honor. pic.twitter.com/8mSWhX8rKs

We now officially have a diss track battle! We’ll see if any other Miami or Alabama fans chime in over the next few days as the big Week 1 game approaches.
