Alabama has increased its lead after capitalizing on a Georgia turnover.

After the Bulldogs’ defense forced an Alabama punt, Georgia took over deep in its own territory. Carson Beck managed to give Georgia some breathing room, but a costly mistake ended the drive. Beck was looking to hand it off, but a miscue led to the ball bobbling on the field, and Alabama jumped on it quickly.

Alabama couldn’t get into the endzone, but it managed to put up 3 points on a field goal and take a 20-10 lead late in the third quarter.

Now Georgia is looking to make up for the mistake and cut into the 10-point deficit. The Bulldogs have had a slow offensive night, and they will need to step things up in the final quarter to get back into the game.
