Alabama fans miss Bryce Young after slow first half offensively vs. Texas A&M

There was some concern surrounding just how well Alabama’s offense would roll without star quarterback Bryce Young in the midst of him missing time with an injury, and that was inflated as the team currently leads the Aggies by just one touchdown with a score of 14 total points ahead of halftime.
Backup quarterback and redshirt freshman Jalen Milroe has been statistically somewhat to par but he’s not near the level of Young (as would be expected). Twitter had a reaction to that as Milroe is currently 5-of-7 passing for 58 yards with 2 touchdowns to go with 69 yards on the ground.
Bryce Young is important to the success of Bama's entire team.
Feels like Ewers has the same impact.
Crazy how important QB is to the entire operation.

Bryce Young should be #1 in Heisman race after this half.

If Bryce Young is out next week, they will get smoked by Tennessee.
Hooker will win the Heisman this year.

#Vols by 21 if Bryce Young doesn’t play.

Neither Clemson nor Alabama are looking like the dominant teams they’ve been the past few years. Both defenses look out of sorts, slow. Without Bryce Young, Bama’s offense is basically Navy’s flexbone.

It will be interesting to see how things shake out as the Crimson Tide move through the season, but it’s apparent that Young is the straw that stirs the drink and that this team just isn’t on the same level of dominance without him.
