Alabama was supposed to face undefeated Colorado State in a big-time matchup on Tuesday night in Birmingham.
But, that game was forced to be canceled due to COVID-19 issues within the Rams’ program.
It didn’t take long for the Crimson Tide to find a new foe, though, as it was announced on Saturday that Davidson would take on Nate Oats’ squad on Tuesday night instead:

The Tide will play on Saturday night against Jacksonville State in Tuscaloosa. Assuming both the Tide and Wildcats can avoid COVID issues between now and Tuesday, that should be a solid nonconference matchup.
We’ll see what happens moving forward, but it’ll be great to see these 2 squads descend on Birmingham.
