Alabama has reportedly replaced one special teams analyst with another.

After losing Carter Blount to Jeremy Pruitt’s Tennessee staff, Nick Saban plans to replace Blount with August Mangin, according to Matt Zenitz of AL.com. Blount served as a special teams analyst for the Tide and Mangin is expected to fill the same role in Tuscaloosa moving forward.

Mangin previously served as special teams coordinator at Northwestern State from 2014 to 2017. He was also a member of the LSU team that won the national championship in 2007.
