Alabama’s defense has had a rough game Saturday night in College Station. The Crimson Tide special teams, however, found a way to put some points on the board.

Freshman wide receiver Ja’Corey Brooks blocked a Texas A&M punt deep in Aggie territory. Fourth-year linebacker King Mwikuta came up with the recovery in the end zone.

It looked like a potentially momentum-swinging play to start an Alabama comeback. While the special teams touchdown briefly cut the Texas A&M lead to 24-17, the momentum swing did not last long. Texas A&M answered by returning the kickoff for a TD, getting the lead back to 14 points, 31-17.
