Kobe Prentice is quickly making up for lost time.

The true freshman did not enroll for the spring semester like most of Alabama’s 2022 recruiting class, but he has had a great training camp and Nikki Chavanelle of On3 reports that Prentice could be in position to be an early contributor.

“Well, I think that he’s showing promise with his quickness playing in the slot,” Saban said. I think his opportunities have increased since JoJo [Earle] got hurt, and he’s taken advantage of it and played, you know, fairly well.”

Prentice is a 4-star prospect out of Calera High School in Calera, Alabama. He was a composite top 100 prospect nationally and ranked as the 5th-best receiver in the 2022 recruiting class.

So Alabama fans, are you excited to see what Prentice can do in the Crimson Tide’s offense?
