Alabama, Georgia release initial availability reports for SEC Championship Game
Alabama and Georgia are meeting for the ninth time since 2018 this weekend, with this being the third clash in the SEC Championship Game.
Ahead of the matchup, the SEC’s first availability report was revealed Wednesday, and both the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide had plenty of names featured on it.
In total, Georgia listed 6 players in its report, while Alabama had a whopping 12 athletes included.
Out of the Bulldogs’ six players that are listed as ‘out’, starting center Drew Bobo is the most notable absence. He sustained a foot injury during the team’s win over Georgia Tech last week, and there are now concerns that he may not even be available for the Dawgs’ looming College Football Playoff run.
Meanwhile, Alabama tailback Jam Miller is listed as questionable after having battled injuries throughout the season, and he joins a pair of tight ends in Josh Cuevas and Danny Lewis Jr. along with offensive lineman Kam Dewberry in that category.
Star pass rusher LT Overton was listed as out for the Crimson Tide, and he is one of 5 defenders that will miss this game for Kalen DeBoer‘s team.
Georgia and Alabama will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET from Atlanta, with the game being broadcast by ABC.
