Alabama was able to beat Missouri 34-0 last week, but the Crimson Tide are 6-2 on the season with losses to Tennessee and Vanderbilt. The Crimson Tide have a huge game this weekend at LSU that will play a huge role in determining whether or not Alabama is in the College Football Playoff.
ESPN’s Paul Finebaum and Heather Dinich were on ‘Get Up’ on Tuesday morning, where the talked about the Crimson Tide’s CFP chances if they win this weekend.

“Absolutely, because they really don’t have much after that Greeny,” Finebaum said. “They go to Oklahoma who has been a big disappointment, and they play Auburn which has been a disaster.
“This is it for Kalen DeBoer. It was all about getting in the Playoff or bust. We have had that conversation back in Dallas months ago. A win and I think they are in, and a loss and the season goes down in disaster. I know that sounds harsh, but it is all about getting in the Playoff for Alabama.”
In a separate appearance, Dinich echoed these statements of Finebaum, even having Alabama already in the 12-team field this week at 6-2.
“I would also throw 2 loss Alabama back into the conversation,” Dinich said. “The Tide are one of the top teams in the ESPN strength of record metric. By the way, they now have a loss to a bowl eligible Vanderbilt team, which certainly doesn’t look as bad it did that day. They have one of the best wins in the country against Georgia. So don’t count out the Tide, I would actually count them in.”
