Alabama can officially put the narrative about its road woes to bed this weekend with a win over No. 14 Missouri.

In what is shaping up to be one of the biggest games Faurot Field has seen in years, the eighth-ranked Crimson Tide will face a physical Mizzou team and a charged-up crowd. After going on the road to knock off Georgia earlier this year, a second top-25 win in a hostile environment would put Kalen DeBoer and his squad in pole position for a top seed in the College Football Playoff.

The public thinks Alabama can do it.

Alabama -3 is the most bet ticket at BetMGM as of Friday. Even more than Oklahoma over Texas, the betting public has largely backed the Crimson Tide to win by at least 3 points over Mizzou.

Amidst its 4-game winning streak, Alabama has been exceptional against the number. The Crimson Tide have covered in each of their last 3 games against power conference teams by an average of 5.5 points. They also covered a 34-point spread against ULM on Sept. 6 by the time the game reached halftime.

Mizzou has failed to cover in each of its last 2 games after a 3-0 ATS start to the season.

However, the Tigers have been nearly automatic over the last few years. Dating back to the start of the 2023 campaign, Mizzou is 21-10 ATS (67.7%). Notre Dame is the only FBS team with a better cover rate over that time. That number includes a 7-3 ATS record as an underdog.

Missouri is also 3-1 outright as a home underdog since the start of the 2023 season. The wins came over Oklahoma in 2024, Tennessee in 2023, and Kansas State early in 2023. Both the Vols and the Wildcats were ranked in the AP Top 15 when they visited Columbia.

Kickoff on Saturday is set for noon ET on ABC. If you’re looking to bet on the game, grab this BetMGM bonus code for a sign-up special.
