Alabama kicker commit Eddy Pineiro has a new personal record.
Pineiro drilled a 73-yard field goal in practice, and he proved it on his Twitter account. He’s rated as a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports, for the class of 2016.
Just to put that into perspective, former Denver Broncos’ Matt Prater — currently with the Detroit Lions — set an NFL record with his 64-yard kick in 2013.
The JUCO kicker has one of the strongest legs in the county:
