Alabama lands commitment from 4-star 2023 QB out of Louisiana

Alabama is widely considered to be one of the favorites to land the commitment of 2023 5-star QB Arch Manning, along with Texas and Georgia.
But, on Tuesday, the Tide made another big splash on the recruiting trails, adding a different quarterback from Louisiana to their 2023 class — 4-star Eli Holstein out of Zachary.
As you can see below, Holstein took to Twitter on Tuesday to reveal his decision to commit to the Crimson Tide:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Holstein is the No. 8 quarterback in the class of 2023 and the No. 5 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.
The Crimson Tide now have 4 players in their 2023 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 25 nationally and No. 6 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
