Alabama continues to roll on the recruiting trail for the class of 2025. On Friday, the Crimson Tide snagged another 5-star prospect to add to an already elite group for head coach Kalen DeBoer.
The player is Dijon Lee, a 5-star cornerback and one of the top overall defensive backs for the cycle. He received a quick offer from Alabama shortly after DeBoer’s hiring in January, and Lee eventually committed to the Tide over Georgia, Texas A&M and Washington.

Lee is listed at 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds out of Mission Viejo High School in California. The 247 Sports Composite rates Lee as the top player out of California and the No. 4 CB in the country as well as the 22nd overall player regardless of position.
Impact for Alabama
With his commitment, Lee becomes the highest-ranked prospect in Alabama’s 2025 recruiting class. He joins 5-star LB Darrell Johnson (No. 26 overall) and 4-star QB Keelon Russell (No. 38) as top 50 players in the country pledged to the Crimson Tide. Lee also joins 4-star CB Chuck McDonald (No. 76) as top 100 players at the CB position.
Alabama’s recruiting class is now up to 20 total players, a group that ranks No. 2 in the country behind Ohio State on the 247 Sports Team Composite. The Crimson Tide now have 2 players with a 5-star rating, joining Ohio State, LSU and Georgia as the only programs with multiple 5-star commitments.
