Alabama LB Anfernee Jennings announces successful surgery

Alabama opened its season with a strong showing in the 24-7 win over No. 3 Florida State.
Unfortunately, the game took a toll on the Tide’s defense.
Anfernee Jennings was one of four LB’s to leave the game due to injury, and two of the LB’s are out for the season. Christian Miller (torn biceps) and Terrell Lewis (torn elbow ligament) are done for the season, while Jennings (sprained ankle) and Rashaan Evans (groin) will also miss time.
Jennings shared on Twitter Tuesday that his injury did require surgery, but the surgery was successful.
Thanking God for a successful surgery. Road to recovery starts now. Be back in no time.?

There is still no timetable for Jennings to return, but it does look like he will be back sometime this season.
