Alabama linebacker Shaun Dion Hamilton was ejected after officials ruled he targeted a Texas A&M player during the second quarter Saturday.
Hamilton led with his helmet while delivering a punishing block to Sam Moeller during an Alabama punt return with about 5 minutes left in the first half.
Hamilton and teammate Shawn Burgess-Becker hit Moeller at almost the same time. Officials reviewed the play and ejected Hamilton.
