Alabama and South Florida are set to resume after a weather delay caused the game to be interrupted for about an hour.
An announcement in the press box said the game would resume at 5:30 p.m. ET after the players are set to be on the field about 10 minutes before.
Alabama trailed the Bulls 3-0 when the game was suspended. New starting quarterback Tyler Buchner got off to a rough start, and was 4-for-10 passing for 25 yards. The Bulls converted a 44-yard field goal with 7:08 left in the first quarter.
Alabama was just 1-for-5 on 3rd downs, and had a lost fumble early in the game.
Buchner replaced Jalen Milroe after Milroe had a pair of interceptions last week in the loss to Texas. The Notre Dame transfer led the offense to 53 total yards before the break.
Alabama-USF will return to the field at 4:20 p.m. CT and play will resume at 4:30 p.m., it was just announced in the press box.
